  1. Such a deep and soulful album. via: Currently Listening: D’Angelo Voodoo Simply. Amazing. Words can’t begin to describe how wonderful and complete this album really is. I think there’s at least one song from him that can relate to how I’m feeling, no matter what. And that’s rare to find. The instrumentation is perfect & his voice is so raw…it’s just a perfect match. The track that really stands out to me is “Africa”, it’s a perfect song to close the album…with retrospective lyrics…it’s beautiful. Every song is on point, and as relevant as it was when the album was released in 2000. I miss this guy a LOT.  (via) I totally agree! And please don’t call it ‘neo-soul’, because it’s not. It’s Soul, Funk, Jazz, Hip-Hop & Blues.
